Yay!! George and Sable's special day finally came!!
Do you know why I was so excited for them? Because we are currently in the middle of a pandemic with COVID-19; just days before this everything was still closed, weddings and events were being rescheduled left and right. As I'm writing this blog, I can't help but be torn about what to focus on: all the ups and downs of planning a wedding during a pandemic, or they recognized each other as the person they were meant to be with, or how a blind date lead to marriage, or how amazing that through it all they pulled through. There were so many uncertainties, difficulties, and even fears that could have dampen their happy day but they didn't allow it. They persevered and pressed on. They had so many loving and supportive friends and families that helped made their day possible. A statement that I kept hearing over and over again was how happy everyone was that they found each other. Everyone brave the pandemic and came to join and celebrate in their happiness.
If you haven't had the chance to see their amazing engagement blog you can find it here: Sable and George's Engagement.
One of the things that stood out to me was how family was so important to Sable and George and how detail oriented they were. There were so many details that were personalized, from hand sanitizer bottles, to jewelry, to shirts, to cups, to zippo lighter etc. which all helped make their special day truly theirs. They even included pictures of loved ones that had gone ahead to heaven, otherwise they would have been there too. We experienced three first looks, five first dances, two surprise special performances by the groomsmen and the bride's mother, and tear jerking moments. So much thoughts and preparations went into every details, they are truly an outpouring of love and appreciation from Sable and George to their families and friends, and to each other. I love how they still steal hugs and kisses with each other throughout the day. I love how they look at each other, a look that I first saw during their engagement photoshoot. A look of love and happiness, a look that speak I'm so happy you are mine.
George and Sable, I'm so happy you both persevered through this pandemic. I know you have much to look forward to as you build your own sweet family and your dream home. I wish you all the happiness, joy, and love as you start this journey together. May these pictures reminds you of all the happy memories you shared on this special day. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey. --Love, Katie Le
